Limo For Mr. President

The car you see is a limousine for the Russian president – ZiL-4112R. This car has been allegedly made for six years. It exists only in one copy and still needs to be improved. During the test drive its wipers broke and the original doors didn’t close correctly. It was even hard to believe that the work took six years! But luckily it starts and can even drive around the yard of the plant.

We are about to visit the shop where the car is being made.

Zondas successor, the new supercar from Italo-Argentinian designer Horacio Pagani is the stunning Pagani C9 Huayra. Equipped with a biturbo V12 engine provided by AMG, the Huayra has 700 hp and 737lb ft of torque, Mercedes-Benz "provided" another cool detail to Pagani, the gull-wing-inspired doors by the now rival SLS.

2012 Latest Hybrid Suv’s Round-up

GMC YUKON HYBRID

The GMC Yukon Hybrid full-size SUV launched a new generation of big vehicles with the greener technlogy . This Hybrid Suv available with either two- or four-wheel drive, there are two trim levels available. The base Yukon Hybrid has a starting price of $51,610 for the 2WD model; $54,420 for the 4WD. The lavishly appointed Yukon Denali Hybrid 2WD starts at $58,925; the 4WD at $61,770. Other than an updated touch-screen navigation radio that includes a USB port and the ability to record broadcast audio, there are no changes to the Yukon Hybrid for model year 2012.

CADILLAC ESCALADE HYBRID

The Escalade Hybrid shares the same hybrid system which is used in the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC’s Yukon hybrid SUVs. The hybrid hardware combines a modified 6.0-liter, 332-horsepower V8 gasoline engine, a 300-volt nickel-metal hydride battery pack and a two mode hybrid transmission that includes two 50-kilowatt motor generators. In order to keep the vehicle running at peak efficiency, this hybrid system is able to run in one of two separate modes—hence the name “two-mode hybrid.”During low-speed, low-impact driving, the powertrain works just like other hybrids, it stops the V8 engine whenever possible so that it may draw power from one or both of the electric motors. With a deft foot on the go pedal, the big SUV can travel under electric power for around two miles at up to 35 mph.

The Porsche Cayenne was all new for 2011 and there are no significant changes for the 2012 model year. But it does receive some new features, such as blind spot monitoring, upgraded carpeting for seatbacks and cargo area and body colored wheel arch extensions. Base price for the 2012 Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid is $69,000, a $1,300 increase from last year.

TOYOTA HIGHLANDER HYBRID

The gas-electric Highlander was outfitted last year with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, replacing the 3.3-liter six of its predecessors. The dual-overhead cam Atkinson-cycle engine (a more fuel-efficient version of the traditional four-stroke Otto-cycle engine) is rated at 231-horsepower. In addition, two electric motors join this powertrain, one in the front and one in the rear, boosting the overall horsepower to a very respectable 280. There is a third electric motor that operates solely as an engine starter. The whole system is connected to a continuously variable transmission, which is engineered to manage the various sources of power in a way that maximizes the Highlander Hybrid’s efficiency.

Heffner Performance 8.72 Second

It is almost common-placed to peruse the internet and Youtube for videos featuring ridiculously fast twin-turbo Lamborghinis, especially when it comes to forced-fed Gallardo creations birthed by tuner shops such as Underground Racing and Heffner Performance.
One thing that was lacking -was a Lamborghini Gallardo to break 8 seconds in the quarter mile. Usually, running record-breaking quarter mile times is not on the mind of every twin-turbo Lamborghini owner. One exception happens to be a customer of Heffner Performance who had his sights on an 8 second run in his 2008 Gallardo Superleggera.
Jason Heffner and his mad scientist team were in for a challenging to please a customer, who happens to be an avid drag racer of exotic cars. No compromise would be made in this build, which required a pair of custom-built ball bearing turbos and MoTec electronics to produce around 1,400 (estimated) wheel horsepower.
No this was not Hollywood prepping the latest Fast and Furious film, this was a real test of the engineering foundation of Lamborghini and Jason Heffner’s 14+ years of experience in tuning some of the most exotic vehicles on earth.

According to the Forbes Billionaires List, Mexican telecom giant Carlos Slim Helu is the world’s richest man. He drives a Bentley Continental Flying Spur which costs around $300,000.

Reliance India Chairman Mukesh Ambani with a net worth of $22.3 billion is the world’s richest Indian in the Forbes list. He drives one of the most luxurious cars, a Maybach 62 along with a Mercedes S Class and a Mercedes SL500.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates’ daily drive is a Porsche 959 Coupe. Only 230 examples of this car were built and each one costs $200,000.
